Chinatown (SG)

Anyone know where about was this pic taken?
Well, for those living in Singapore, the answer is obvious isn't it? ;P

You know, it's been a long time since I last came here. A place where I used to accompany my family and friends to shop for Chinese Lunar New Year goodies *beam* Not to mention checking out the yummy food at the hawker center, coffee shops, restaurants etc. Come to think of it, Chinatown is a food paradise yah? There are so many choices that makes one wanna have a bite of everything! By the way, any recommendation of what's nice to pig out at Chinatown? *wink*

Ever been to this Yum Cha restaurant?

Looking at this pic, does it ring a bell? :)

Special thanks to a group of ex-colleagues who organized a Yum Cha session at this restaurant *beam* The dim sums over here are quite tasty. However, they run out of order for certain dishes which is quite a disappointment. Perhaps it was due to the demand of the crowd at the restaurant that day. Very good business I must say... For those who are interested, do make a reservation in advance. Trust me, you won't wanna be queuing out there...~

CNY shopping anyone? :)

Well, now that Christmas and New Year countdown is over... are you ready for Chinese New Year? First thing that came to my mind is ... Spring cleaning!!! *roll eyes* Gosh! The time of the new year where one gotta make a decision as to what stuff to keep and what to be donated/thrown away. Have you ever experienced taking out all the things and ended up putting them back again? Simply b'coz they held such precious memories which makes you unable to part with? It's a tough decision when there's limited storage space for all those stuff... tsk...tsk... Quite a chore yah?

By the way, isn't Spring cleaning the beginning of a nightmare for some of us? Imagine lizards flying out of the closets... okie... lizards don't have wings... but still they jump yah? Not to mention seeing those tails on the floor with the body missing! Gosh! The thought of it just gave me goosebumps! Heard that if a lizard's tail goes into your ear, you will go deaf! How true is it? *shrug shoulders*

Anyway, happy Spring cleaning... enjoy ya CNY shopping and may 2008 be a fruitful year for everyone! Cheers~! \(^o^)/
